Notice - CONSOL Energy - Allegheny County Airport Authority Environmental Assessment for Pittsburgh International Airport Notice of Oil & Gas Development Environmental Assessment Process at Pittsburgh International Airport CONSOL Energy and the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) are in the preliminary stages of conducting an environmental assessment for proposed Oil & Gas development on Pittsburgh International Airport property owned by ACAA. The development project will entail well site, impoundment and pipeline construction, drilling and hydraulic fracturing operations on multiple well sites on airport property. As part of CONSOL Energy and ACAA's continued public outreach for this project, the public is invited to visit www.FlyPittsburgh.com/energy, which provides information on CONSOL Energy, ACAA, and the Environmental Assessment Process. The site will be updated regularly throughout the environmental assessment process. The environmental assessment document is currently being developed, and will be made available to the public when drafting is complete. Pursuant to Federal Aviation Administration National Environmental Policy Act regulations, notice associated with public outreach is required. A public question/comment form will be available at www.FlyPittsburgh.com/energy beginning on July 22, 2013. Completed forms can be emailed to info@FlyPittsburgh.com or mailed to Oil & Gas Development Environmental Assessment, Allegheny County Airport Authority, Pittsburgh International Airport, P.O. Box 12370, Pittsburgh, PA 15231. CONSOL Energy and ACAA will also provide an opportunity to submit comments during their next public meeting.
