INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids are requested for the ELEVEN (11) VALLEYS LOW-SLOPE EPDM RE-ROOFING at the Filterbuy building of New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park, LLC., 204 Schreiber Industrial Park, New Kensington, PA 15068. Sealed bids will be received by the Property Manager's Roof Consultant no later than 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at which time a non-mandatory public bid opening will be held, and all bids received shall be read aloud. Sealed bids shall be mailed or hand-delivered to the Roof Consultant at the following address, which shall also be the location of the public bid opening: Attn: Mr. Justin Piontkowski, RRO / Project Manager Mark J. All sealed bids shall be submitted with inner and outer envelopes (double envelopes). Outer envelope shall be clearly titled BID FOR FILTERBUY ELEVEN (11) VALLEYS LOW-SLOPE EPDM RE-ROOFING, NEW KENSINGTON ADVANCED MANUFACTURING PARK, LLC., NEW KENSINGTON, PA. Outer envelope must also be stamped DO NOT OPEN PRIOR TO 11:00 A.M. THURSDAY, MAY 23, 2024. Bid documents will be available as of Tuesday, April 23, 2024. One (1) set of bid documents will be available by calling the Roof Consultant. Documents will be provided at no charge, via email, in PDF format. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid amount must be submitted with the Contractor's Bid. This project will also require 100% Performance & Labor & Material Payment Bonds to be furnished prior to beginning work. This project must also comply with current Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. A copy of this project's Davis-Bacon wage rates is included in the Bid Package. There will be a mandatory on-site Pre-Bid meeting on Thursday, May 2, 2024 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the front (South) end of the Filterbuy building. All those in attendance must wear hard hats and safety harnesses, as roof access will only be provided via bucket lift at this time. All work shall commence approximately Monday, July 8, 2024, weather permitting. All work shall achieve final completion no later than one-hundred fifty (150) calendar days from project commencement. Failure to complete the work within the specified timeline will result in liquidated damages being accessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day beyond the final completion date specified.
