DOCUMENT 00 01 50 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Date: June 19, 2015 Advertisement for Bid Asphalt Paving Replacement for Central Greene School District and Greene County CTC 30 Zimmerman Drive, Waynesburg, PA 15370 Project #: MA 1505 The Central Greene School District will receive sealed bids for a General Contract for paving replacement including driveways and parking areas located at 30 Zimmerman Drive. Work includes, but is not limited to, milling of existing asphalt paved surfaces and installation of new asphalt paving. Work will also include repair and seeding of any adjacent lawn areas disturbed during the work. Work will commence on a written "Notice to Proceed" (NTP) from the owner or his representative, and will be substantially complete no later than August 14, 2015. Bids will be on a lump sum basis: Award will be made based on the low base bid plus or minus alternates at the discretion of the District. Segregated bids will not be accepted. The School District will receive bids until 10:00 am prevailing time on Tuesday July 7, 2015 in the Office of Deborah Crouse, Director of Business Affairs, 250 South Cumberland Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370 , where they will be time stamped. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Shortly thereafter, bids will be opened and read aloud. Interested parties are invited to attend. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the architect's office: McLean Architects, 809 Bingham Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, Phone: (412) 381-3300, upon payment of $75 per set for paper documents and $35 for PDF files of documents on a CD. No refund will be made for the return of documents. Bidding Documents will be sent upon receipt of payment. Faxed or emailed copies of checks are not acceptable. Documents will also be on file at the Pittsburgh Builders Exchange, 1813 N. Franklin Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 and at McGraw Hill Construction at www.dodgeprojects.construction.com. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at the project site at 30 Zimmerman Drive, Waynesburg, PA. This project is subject to Pennsylvania and Federal Prevailing Wages. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Bid and a Non-Collusive Affidavit, must accompany each bid. The Central Greene School District reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids, alternates, or parts of bids.
