Safety Inspection of Locally-Owned Bridges SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been retained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform safety inspections of approxi- mately fifteen locally-owned bridges in Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmore- land Counties. The work is anticipated to begin on April 20, 2020 and be performed through March 2022. SAI requires the services of a qualified Contractor to provide access equipment, equipment operators, safety equipment, and maintenance and pro- tection of traffic (MPT). MPT must be provided in strict accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. The Department of Homeland Security's Fed- eral Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) solicits techni- cal information or comments on proposed flood hazard determinations for the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and where applicable, the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report for your community. These flood hazard determina- tions may include the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area boundaries or zone designa- tions, or the regulatory flood- way. The FIRM and, if applicable, the FIS report have been revised to reflect these flood hazard determinations through issuance of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), in accordance with Title 44, Part 65 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
